Sustainable development begins with people.
Every community deserves the opportunity to develop, preserve its identity, participate fully in society, and build a better future for the next generation.
At Shoqata “Sfinksi”, our approach places community participation, dignity, equality, education, cultural awareness, and social cooperation at the centre of our organisational vision.
Through community-oriented initiatives, awareness activities, educational opportunities, cultural engagement, and cooperation with civil society, we aim to contribute to a more inclusive Albania where diversity is respected and every individual can reach their potential.

Programs & ActivitiesCommunity Development
Encouraging participation and helping the community identify and act on its own priorities.
Cultural Identity & Heritage
Recognising traditions, history and identity as a source of strength, not a barrier to belonging.
Education & Youth
Raising awareness of learning opportunities and giving young people room to lead and be heard.
Social Inclusion
Promoting equal participation and respectful dialogue, and naming discrimination where it exists.
Women's Participation
Supporting women's involvement in community life and in the decisions that shape it.
Civil Society Cooperation
Building constructive relationships with organisations and institutions working toward the same goals.

Cultural Identity & Heritage
Integration should never require giving up who you are.
The sphinx in our name and emblem speaks to the heritage our community carries. The Albanian eagle and the open hands beside it speak to the country we call home, and to cooperation.
An inclusive society recognises cultural heritage while ensuring equal rights, responsibilities, opportunities, and participation for everyone.

Our Approach to Community Engagement
Listening first, then acting together.
Why our work matters
Barriers to education, information and participation hold back individuals and families. Addressing them strengthens all of Albanian society.
Organisational commitment
We commit to working within our legal purpose, with clear responsibilities and respect for every person we serve.
Transparency & accountability
We publish who we are, how to reach us, and — as they are approved — our reports and policies.
Volunteer participation
People of every generation can contribute time, skills and ideas to community initiatives.
